Loretta Haase

Loretta E. Haase, 88, of Loyal, passed away at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen on Saturday, June 7, 2008.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood.

Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal on Monday, June 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Loretta E. Haase

Loretta E. Haase, 88, of Loyal, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Joseph Follmar will officiate and burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Robert P. Molloy, Patrick Molloy, Richard A. Haase, Randy Rueth, Gary Rueth and Clarence Wagner.

Visitation was bend from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal and from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Loretta Elizabeth Gerrits was born June 15, 1919, in Little Chute to Henry and Nellie (Van Gompla) Gerrits. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Boyd, where she was raised on a farm and received her education. She was united in marriage to Joseph John Haase on Nov. 26, 1936, in Boyd. In 1954, they moved to a farm northwest of Loyal, where they farmed and raised their family. They retired in 1981 and moved into Loyal. Following retirement, Loretta and Joe enjoyed traveling together. Loretta resided in Loyal until entering the Clark County Health Care Center in June of 2004.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its PCCW and had many interests but especially enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing cards and gardening.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Allen Haase of Stanley, David (Eleanor) Haase of Stratford, Ruth (Bob) Molloy of Belvidere, Ill., Richard J. (Jeri) Haase Greenwood, and Debbie (Terry) Rueth of Loyal; 11 grandchildren, Robert (Angie) Molloy, Patrick (Aami) Molloy, Christine (Michael) Molloy-Lehman, Richard A. (Annette) Haase, Gary (Shelby) Rueth, Julie Rueth, Randy Rueth, Kellie Rueth, Chelsey Rueth, and Courtney and Christin Haase; 9 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Morgan Molloy, Drew Lehman, Addison and Delany Molloy, Willow Haase, Avery and Raelyn Rueth. She is further survived by her sister, Betty Endvick of Boyd; brother-in-law, Paul Haase of Owen; and two sisters-in-law, Millie Van Den Heuvel of Stanley and Norma Gerrits of Cadott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe, on Aug. 9, 2002; one son, Dennis Haase in 1976; seven brothers, Nick, Peter, Martin, George, Jerome, Raymond and Harold Gerrits; and six sisters, Ann Deutsch, Harriet Wagner, Jennie Stoehr, Sister Roseann Gerrits, Irene Stong and Dorothy Eslinger.
