Ewert, Carl (9 Apr. 1883 - 28 May 1917)

Carl Ewert of Abbotsford, was accidentally killed at Owen Monday while working in a mill at that place. The remains were brought here Tuesday to the home of his father, Carl Ewert. Funeral will be held Friday.

Carl's father was Carl Ewert (24 Mar 1858, Grim Germany - 8 Mar 1931, Clark Co., Wis.) and he was the son of Johann and Christina (Schultz) Ewert.  His mother was Caroline Siegert / Ziegert (1 Mar 1858 - 6 Oct 1905)
