Ackerman, Ila Irene (Marriage - 10 Oct. 1933)
Miss Ila Irene Ackerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ackerman of Abbotsford, and Arthur Parge of Milan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parge of Abbotsford, were united in marriage at the Bethlem Lutheran parsonage in Milan, at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon October 10, the Rev. George Groh officiating.
The bride wore a beautiful long white satin gown with a white hat. She carried a bridal bouquet of roses.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miller of this village. Mrs. Miller wore a long powder blue satin gown with blue hat to match and shoulder bouquet.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a wedding dance was held at Roder’s Pavilion in the evening.
The groom has operated a garage here for the past five years and is now building a new garage in the central part of the business district.
The Sentinel join Mr. and Mrs. Parge’s many friends in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
