Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Gall, 67, were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Cole-Schiller Funeral Home. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. She died suddenly at her home in Neillsville Saturday, April 13, (1946).
Martha Gall was born in Germany April 6, 1879, to William and Anna Schwl. The family immigrated to the United States in 1881. Mrs. Gall has made her home near Globe and in Neillsville for the past 60 years, except for a brief period of time when the family lived in Park Falls.
She was married January 25, 1905, to Edward Gall, who survives. Four children were born to them. The deceased is survived by the following children: Alex and Donald of Neillsville and Ervin of Owen; also a brother, Louis Schwl of Peshtigo; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Korn of Seward, Neb.; Mrs. William (Anna) May of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Mary Dudei of Neillsville, and Mrs. Ida Kalsow of Globe. Three sisters, two brothers, and a son, Archie, preceded her in death.
The pallbearers were Lawrence Helwig, Gilbert Yorkston, Victor Anderson, Herbert Uttech and Leo and Henry Wasserburger.
