Balch, Loren A. #2 (4 NOV 1856 - 22 NOV 1903)
R. W. Balch received a dispatch Monday morning that his brother, Loren A. Balch, had died Sunday at Denver, Colorado, where he held the position of general western agent for the J. I. Case Threshing Machine Co. Death was from paralysis.
Deceased was son of F. A. Balch of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), and was born at Newburg, Washington Co., on Nov. 4th, 47 years ago. Part of his life was spent in Sheboygan, a few years in this city. He leaves a wife, formerly Rose Robinson of this city, and a daughter three years old, the venerable father, brothers R. W. and Fred O., and the sister, Mrs. Julius Sontag of Altoona, now visiting here.
