Lee, Bessie #2 (22 DEC 1903)
Mr. Lester Woodward and Miss Bessie Lee were united in marriage Tuesday evening, Dec. 22, 1903, at 8:30, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Hattie Lee, by Rev. G. W. Longenecker, in the presence of relatives only. It was the surprise of the season to their friends, who had no hint of the event till it was passed and over. Both are of Neillsville’s (Clark Co., Wis.) younger society, born and reared here, with the exception of a few years the bride spent as a child with her mother at Fifield. Lester handed around the cigars, and congratulations were bestowed. He holds a clerkship at the Omaha depot here and is a young man of industry and energy.
