Streubing, Charles (1857? - 24 JAN 1904)

Charles Streubing died at his farm home two miles west of Columbia (Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday evening, Jan. 24, 1904, of Bright’s disease, aged 46 years. Funeral services were held at the house yesterday at 1 p.m., and today the remains will be shipped to Chicago for burial. Rev. Shoar of Stratford conducted the services.

Deceased was born in Germany and at an early age brought to this country. The family settled at Chicago, where Charley grew up and made his home until three or four years ago, when he came to Clark County, where he hoped to have better health, the change no doubt prolonging his life. He leaves a widow and four children to mourn, and a large circle of relatives and friends. His father is still living at Chicago.
