Rose, Charles #2 (8 AUG 1858 - 17 FEB 1904)
Charles Rose died at his home on Ninth Street, at the corner of Barton Avenue, Wednesday, Feb. 17th, 1904, of typhoid fever, following typhoid pneumonia, which Dr. Curtis successfully broke up, but the patient was unable to withstand the fever. He died at 4 o’clock.
He was about 45 years of age, and is survived by the wife and three children.
The funeral was held Sunday at the Congregational Church, by Rev. Longenecker, under the auspices of the Woodmen, in which society he carried $2,000 insurance. The funeral was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
