Mrs. Nancy Lowe died Tuesday, March 8, 1904, at the home of her son, Jos. Lowe, of old age, at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 4 days, passing away peacefully, while she slept. The funeral takes place at the house today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. Rev. Longenecker officiates.
Deceased was born in Lancastershire, England, Dec. 4, 1811, was married there, and with her husband, the late Joseph Lowe, Senior, her own son Joseph and stepchildren John, James, Jesse, Thomas and Sarah (the late Mrs. Phillip Berg), came to America in 1857, and to Jackson Co. in 1865, making their home at Hixton, where the children grew up and she lived until, the husband passing away, she made her home here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) with the family of her son.
