Overman, Albert (5 SEP 1882 - 1 JAN 1947)
Albert Overman, 64, father of Dr. M. V. Overman of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 9 p.m. on Jan. 1, 1947, in Neillsville, where he had been brought for treatment of a sudden serious illness. His home was in River Falls. The body lay in state at the Cole Funeral Home until Saturday morning. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Park Funeral Home in Balsam Lake, Wis., the Rev. Floyd A. Fahlgren, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church, officiating. Burial took place at Balsam Lake.
Mr. Overman was born on Sept. 5, 1882, in balsam Lake, where much of his life was spent. He had lived in River Falls the past 15 years. His parents, Edward and Mary (Young) Overman, are decease. On March 2, 1905, he was married to Rosamond Tuttle, at St. Croix Falls.
He is survived by his wife and three sons, Dr. M. V. Overman of Neillsville, Earl Overman of St. Louis, Mo., and M/Sgt. Edward Overman of Camp Kilmer, N.J. There are four grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, John Overman of Deer Park, Wash, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Horsmann of Dresser and Mrs. Nels Davidson of Balsam Lake.
