Osgood, Betty E. (3 JAN 1947)
Miss Betty Ellen Osgood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rella Osgood of Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), and Harland Kuhl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kuhl of Neillsville, were married on Jan. 3, 1947, in Mason City, Iowa. The ceremony took place in the parsonage of the Lutheran Church.
The bride was graduated from the Granton High School in 1941, and from the Wood County Normal School in 1943. The past two and a half years she has been teaching in the Roder School south of Granton. The groom was graduated from the Neillsville High School in 1942, and is now engaged in farming.
The young couple have purchased a farm near Granton and for the present, while the house is being remodeled, are residing at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs. Kuhl is continuing teaching for the present.
A dance and coin shower was given in their honor, Thursday evening at the Neillsville Armory.
