Klaar, Anabelle (Marriage - 26 May 1956)
Miss Anabelle Klaar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Klaar, and Ronald Radetzsky, S.N., son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Radetzsky, were united in marriage Saturday, May 26th, at 8:00 o’clock in the evening, in the Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch reading the marriage ceremony.
Miss Joyce Radetzsky served as maid of honor and Mrs. Frederic Klaar as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Delmer Radetzsky, as best man and by Frederic Klaar as groomsman.
The bride was attired in a waltz-length gown with white lace over light blue taffeta, fitted bodice and bouffant nylon net skirt over light blue taffeta. The bodice featured short sleeves and scalloped neckline. Her short veil of light blue nylon tulle trimmed with tiny pearls was held in place by a tiara studded with pearls. Her white lace gauntlets formed points over her hands. Her colonial style bouquet consisted of pink roses and white carnations.
The maid of honor wore a street-length pink dress of nylon crystalette with fitted bodice and full skirt, lace jacket with short sleeves. The bridesmaid wore a street-length yellow dress of nylon crystalette with fitted bodice and full skirt, eyelet jacket with three-quarter length sleeves. Their wrist corsages consisted of pink roses and white carnations.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the church hall.
The groom is in the U.S. Navy and is attending school at U.S.N.T.C., Great Lakes, Ill.
