Mrs. Fred Schroeder and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blum were in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday to attend the wedding of their niece, Miss Esther Blum, and Lester Balts of Cadott. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blum of Owen, formerly of Neillsville. The ceremony was performed at the Owen Gospel Tabernacle by the Rev. Henry Reigel, uncle of the bride, pastor. The reception which followed was attended by a large number of friends from Owen and from the Gospel Tabernacle at Cadott.

The bride was attended by her sisters, Miss grace Blum as maid of honor, and Mrs. Robert (Lois) Kohnhorst of Wausau as matron of honor. Attending the groom were his brother, Philip Balts of Cadott, and Robert Kohnhorst of Wausau. The couple is residing on a farm near Cadott.
