Schlimme, Oscar William Herman (16 December 1904 - 8 October 1946)

Otto William Herman Schlimme, aged 41 years, died suddenly about 9 o’clock on Tuesday, October 8, (1946), at his home in Neillsville. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, (1946), at 1:30 p.m., at the Georgas Funeral Home, and at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. William A. Baumann will conduct the services. Burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mr. Schlimme was born December 16, 1904, in Hanover, Germany. There he received his early education. At the age of 18 he came to America and made his home with an aunt at Boyd, Wis. He had a shoe shop in Boyd for eight years and came to Neillsville in 1934. He has lived here ever since. He was first located in the Unger shoe store and moved to his present location five years ago.

On August 29, 1931, he was united in marriage at Chippewa Falls, to Miss Kathryn Woeks of Boyd. Two children were born to them, Sonja and Corinne. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schlimme, died in Germany. There are three brothers and four sisters, all living in Germany.
