Felton, Margaret (Marriage - 16 December 1945)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Laager, newlyweds, are making their home in Eau Claire. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Laager of Neillsville. He was recently discharged from the army after 29 months of service. The bride, who is the former Miss Margaret Felton, has been employed at the Pressure Cooker Company in Eau Claire for the past 18 months.
The couple was married on December 16, 1945, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The Rev. George Vollmer officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a royal blue velvet street length dress and a corsage of pink medallions and roses. Her attendants were Mrs. Carl Eslinger, Neillsville, and Mrs. Mary Williams, Eau Claire. The groom’s attendants were Mr. Eslinger and Paul Keller.
Following the ceremony a dance and shower were held at the Stables Nite Club near Neillsville.
