Gonschorek, Ida (Marriage - 13 February 1946)
The parsonage of Calvary Baptist Church of Evanston, Ill., was beautifully decorated with flowers and greens, and tall candles shed their soft glow Wednesday evening, February 13, at 8:30, as Miss Ida Gonschorek of Chicago, daughter of Henry Gonschorek of Greenwood, became the bride of John Foster Blodgett of Duluth.
The bride wore a floor length gown of white satin and net, and her fingertip veil fell from a crown of orange blossoms. She wore a gold locket, a gift from the groom, and carried a bouquet of red roses.
Miss Esther Sutton, a close friend, attended as maid of honor. The groom was attended by Edgar Berglund.
A reception was held at Cooley’s restaurant, where covers were laid for 16 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Blodgett will make their home in Chicago.
