Zschernitz, Rose Marie (Marriage - 23 February 1946)

Miss Rose Marie Zschernitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zschernitz of Neillsville, and Lester Volz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Volz of Neillsville route 4, were married Saturday, February 23, at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church parsonage. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore an olive green suit with a corsage of pink and white carnations. Her attendant was Miss Velda Lewerenz, a close friend. The groom’s attendant was his brother, Willis Volz.

The couple is making their home with the bride’s parents temporarily. The groom is employed at the L. J. Chevrolet garage, and the bride has employment at the Farmers’ Store.

A wedding dance was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Volz at the Levis town hall Saturday night.
