Warsaw, Pearl M. (26 APR 1947)
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cummings announce the marriage of their son, Donald Cummings, to Miss Pearl Mary Warsaw of Chicago, on Saturday, April 26, 1947, in Chicago. The double ring ceremony was performed at high noon at the home of a friend of the bride in the presence of the bride’s mother and parents of the groom. Attendants were a sister and brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride wore a suit of powder blue and had a headband of blue flowers. Her arm corsage was of gardenias and white roses. The groom was attired in a gray suit.
A reception for 50 relatives and friends was held at the home of the bride’s mother.
Since her graduation from a Chicago high school the bride has been employed in a Walgreen drug store. She plans to continue there. The groom was graduated from the Neillsville High School with the class of 1944, and attended college in Chicago. Since completing his course there he has been employed as a maintenance repair man with the Walgreen drug company. The couple have begun housekeeping in Chicago.
