Mallory, Clyde (3 OCT 1878 - 25 MAY 1947)
Mrs. Clyde Mallory, 70, died Sunday night at the home of her son, Marvin, in Granton (Clark Co., Wis.). Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, May 29, at the home and at the Church of Christ, of which Mrs. Mallory was a member. The Rev. D. Camp of Stevens Point will officiate. Burial ill take place in the Granton Cemetery (Windfall).
Mrs. Mallory was born Clyde Crocker, Oct. 3, 1878, In Stevens Point. She received her education there. After her marriage to Rev. Wilson Mallory, they came to Granton. For many years he was pastor of the Church of Christ. He died in 1919.
Nine children survive, six sons and three daughters. The sons are: Wilson, Price and Marvin of Granton; Laurin of Neillsville; Eldon, Harland and Galen, who reside in California. The daughters are: Genevieve, Mrs. Eugene Auger, and Twyla, Mrs. William Alvord, of California; Miss Virginia Mallory of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There are eleven grandchildren.
The five children who reside in California have all been here to visit their mother recently and will not return for the funeral.
