Johnson, William (? - Jan. 30, 1928)

WILLIAM JOHNSON DIES

William Johnson of the town of Levis, passed away at the home of his daughter in Chicago on January 30, 1928 of myocarditis. His body was brought to Neillsville on the morning train Wednesday, and is being held at the Lowe funeral home until the funeral, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mr. Johnson was born in London, Eng., and came to this country about 32 years ago and settled in the town of Levis, Clark county. He remained on his farm and for many years worked in the city on Neillsville, being employed with John Wolf, as butcher.

The deceased leaves a wife, two children (a son and daughter) and two step-children (a son and daughter). The funeral will be held at the Lowe funeral home this Thursday afternoon and burial will be at the Dells Dam cemetery.
