BEAVER

The hearts of the loggers were gladdened by having that (flurry) of snow Saturday.

The dance at Scovil's was quite well attended Saturday evening although it was blustering.

L. Wilcox drove to Greenwood Saturday.

Jas. Howe and crew were in the city Saturday.

Mrs. Gust Stabnaw is cooking for her brother-in-law this winter.

Gene Hall started for Baraboo Friday.

Miss Katie Manes and partner attended the dance at Scovil's Saturday evening.

Sam Cassidav and family visited with Jas. Howe's Sunday.

Mrs. Smith and daughter of Granton visited with Ira Davis and family Sunday.

R. Holmes spent Sunday with his schoolmarm.

Steve LaTart drove to Hemlock Friday with a load of grain.

Miss Buehlman returned from Loyal Thursday.

Henry Mathison was called home Sunday, on account of the sudden death of their baby.
