Huntzicker, Victor E. (31 DEC 1872 - 1 JUL 1947)
Victor Huntzicker, 74, a former resident of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), died suddenly in Milwaukee Jul. 1, 1947. Funeral services were held in Milwaukee Thursday and the body was cremated. The ashes will be brought later this month to Greenwood, where burial will take place beside his parents. Mrs. Helen Zinn of Neillsville and Mrs. Sarah Huntzicker of Marshfield attended the services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Victor E. Huntzicker was born Dec. 31, 1872, near Greenwood. The past 30 years he has made his home in Milwaukee, where he has been employed by the Milwaukee Electric Co..
Three children survive. They are Victoria, Mrs. Frank Burton of Madison; Blanche, Mrs. Oliver Burnham, Milwaukee; Merritt Huntzicker of Phoenix, Ariz. There are five grandchildren.
His first wife was Jean McCauley of Green Lake, whom he met while attending Ripon College. She died many years ago and is buried in the Neillsville Cemetery. Three children are also deceased. The late Mrs. Ollie Smith of Neillsville was a sister.
Mr. Huntzicker was in Neillsville about two weeks ago and stayed at the home of Mr. Robert Kurth.
