Miss Margaret C. Bartsch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bartsch, Chili (Clark Co., Wis.), and Melvin F. Bandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bandt, Chili, were married Saturday, July 12, 1947, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chili, at 2 p.m., the Rev. W. A. Lauterbach officiating.
The bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Evelyn Bartsch, as maid of honor, and Miss Arlene Riedel and Miss Helen Oestreich, also her cousins, as bridesmaids. The flower girl was Jennine Steffen, and the ring bearer was Rene Haibig. The best man was Merle Bartsch, and Earl Heubener and Everest Bartsch were groomsmen. The ushers were Wilmer Draheim and Julius King.
The bride attended the Marshfield High School and the groom the Granton High School. He also served overseas with the army for 18 months. Mr. and Mrs. Bandt will live in Chili.
