Funeral services for Mrs. William W. Smith, 68, of Chili (Clark Co., Wis.), were held Saturday afternoon, July 26, at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton. The officiating pastor was the Rev. Lee Holmes of the Loyal Methodist church. Burial took place in the Windfall Cemetery at Granton.
Mrs. Smith, whose maiden name was Della Mae Pizer, was born July 6, 1879, in Delaware County, Ind. She was married July 3, 1897, at viola, to William Smith, who survives. They had lived at Chili the past four years. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are three daughters, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The daughters are, Mildred, Mrs. William Dankemyer of Chili, Mrs. Dulcie Wanless of Maple Rapids, Mich., and Bernice, Mrs. Sidney Worral of Rockford, Ill. Two brothers are living, Fred picer of Richland Center and Milan Pizer of Portland, Ore.
Mrs. Smith died on July 23, 1947, as a result of a complication of ailments. She and her husband had observed their golden wedding anniversary early in July.
