Korenchen, Andrew #2 (1873 - 20 JUL 1947)
Funeral services were held July 23 for Andrew Korenchen, 74, a resident of the town of Hendren (Clark Co., Wis.) for the last 30 years. He died July 20, 1947 following a heart attack.
Services were held from the home and from the West Side Reformed Church, with Rev. J. C. Klingeberger officiating. Burial was made in the Willard Cemetery.
Mr. Korenchen was born in Jugoslavia in 1873. In 1901 he was married to Caroline Morey, in Chicago, and 16 years later they moved to the farm one-half mile north of Willard.
Surviving are the widow; two sons, John and at home, and Andrew, Jr., of Chicago; and a daughter, Mrs. Carolina Rissky of Chicago. Also surviving are two sisters living in Waukegan, Ill., and two brothers living in Chicago.
Pallbearers were: Jake Deutschman, Frank Zupanic, Mat Dergance, John Gregorich, Frank Boh and Tony Trunkel, Sr.
