Schnabel, Velda (Marriage - 2 August 1946)

Miss Velda Schnabel, daughter of Mrs. Lena Schnabel, Neillsville route four, and Elliot R. King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy King of the Town of Pine Valley, were married Friday, August 2, at 2:30 p.m. in the parsonage of the Methodist Church of Neillsville. The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. F. A. Fahlgren.

The bride wore a white street length dress, and her flowers were a corsage of pink roses and sweet peas.

Attendants for the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miller, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.

A reception for 35 guests was held at the bride’s home, following the ceremony. Pink and white was the color scheme used for decorations.

Mrs. King has been employed at the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Marshfield and Mr. King is employed at the Kurt Marg Fur Farm.
