The bridesmaid was Miss Genevive Butterfield of Merrillan, sister of the groom.

Following the marriage a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents. Those who attended the dinner were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bock of Vesper; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dicky of Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shudi of Marshfield; Miss Patsy Wright of Neillsville, all sisters of the bride; Lucille Butterfield, a sister of the groom, George Andrews and family and Claire came from Eau Claire; Mrs. George Butterfield, grandparents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson and daughter, Esther, Lefty Hichs and Laura Wallmuth, Elvina Matson, all of Merrillan; Slim Meyers of Neillsville.

The dinner table was decorated with white candles and gladioli.

The wedding cake was made and decorated by Rose Bortos of Hatfield, who presented it as a gift.

The young couple will make their home in Merrillan.
