Seeman, Eileen #3 (1 AUG 1942)
At 4:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, August 1, at the home of the groom’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Cornwell, of Catfish Lake, Eagle River, Miss Eileen Seeman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Seeman of Loyal, became the bride of Kenneth Luther, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Luther of Greenwood. The Rev. Frank L. Fomenendale performed the ceremony.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Lester Luther of Merrill, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.
The bride was attired in a street length dress of light blue with white accessories. She wore a corsage of sweet peas and roses. Mrs. Lester Luther was attired in a street length blue print dress and wore a similar corsage.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School, class of 1939, and is also a graduate of the Wausau Business Institute, after which time she was employed in Wausau and at the Blue Moon Cheese Co. office at Thorp. For the past several months she has been employed by her father in the Pleasant View Dairy here.
The groom graduated from the Greenwood High School, class of 1940, and since then has operated the Pines Service Station at Greenwood, where they will make their home.
A wedding supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Cornwell. The newlyweds returned home Sunday.
The Tribune joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
