Daniels, Marie Hope (Marriage - 21 September 1946)
St. John’s Lutheran Church, Neillsville, was the scene at 7:30 p.m. on September 21, of the marriage of Miss Marie Hope Daniels, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daniels, Neillsville, and Robert Herman Ratsch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ratsch, Neillsville route 4. The Rev. William A. Baumann, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony, with only the immediate relatives present.
The bride’s gown was of white lace, made with a shirred bodice. She wore a finger-tip veil which was caught to a flowered head band, and had a waist corsage. Mrs. Frederick Daniels, sister of the groom, attended as maid of honor and the groom’s attendant was Frederick Daniels, brother of the bride.
They left immediately after the ceremony for a short wedding trip and upon their return a reception will be held at the home of the bride’s parents.
