Linster, Genevieve (Marriage - 2 October 1946)
Miss Genevieve Linster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Linster, Neillsville, became the bride of George Gilmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Gilmore, Randolph, in a service performed Wednesday morning, October 2, at St. Mary’s Church, Neillsville. The Rev. Fr. John Pritzl of St. Mary’s Church performed the single ring ceremony.
The bride chose for her wedding a coral wool suit. Her flowers were a corsage of white roses. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Imig, friends of the bride and groom, were their only attendants.
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Merchants Hotel for 15 guests. They left for a trip to northern Wisconsin and after October 7 will be at home at Randolph.
The bride is a graduate of the Wisconsin Academy of Cosmetic Art and the Eau Claire Business College. She has been employed the past year as a stenographer with the Clark Electric Co-op, at Greenwood. The groom is a graduate of the Colorado State Teachers College at Greely, Colo. He is now employed by the Rockwell Mfg. Co. in Randolph.
