Keuer, Esther E. (23 AUG 1947)
The wedding of Miss Esther E. Keuer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Keuer, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), to Lloyd D. Swenson, son of Elmer Swenson, Granton, was solemnized at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, Aug. 23, 1947. The Rev. William A. Baumann officiated.
For her wedding the bride wore a gown fashioned with a satin bodice and peplum. Her ninon skirt extended into a train. She wore a full length veil with lace inserts and carried a bridal bouquet of pink rosebuds and white gladioli.
Miss Irene Keuer, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore pink ninon and the bridesmaid, Miss Helene Hillert, Granton, wore blue ninon. The flower girl, Barbara Krause, cousin of the bride, wore yellow taffeta.
The groom was attended by Oliver Swenson, his brother, as best man, and Robert Rothenberg, Granton, as groomsman.
Following a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents, the couple left on a honeymoon to southern Wisconsin.
The bride is a graduate of the Granton High School. The groom attended both the Granton and Marshfield High Schools.
The couple will make their home with the bride’s parents.
