Hartung, Elizabeth (23 AUG 1947)
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Klundt, newlyweds, are making their home in Milwaukee following a wedding trip through southern Wisconsin. The bride is the former Catherine Elizabeth Hartung, daughter of Joseph Hartung of Neillsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kundt of Menasha.
The wedding took place at Neenah on Aug. 23, 1947 at St. Margaret Mary Church. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Glueckstein officiated at the double ring ceremony.
For her wedding the bride chose a white taffeta gown with a long train and a veil trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a prayer book and a bouquet of red roses.
Her attendants were Miss Helen Hartung and Miss Rosalie Hartung of Neillsville, sisters of the bride. The groom’s attendant was Raymond Klundt.
Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents for about 100 guests.
The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School, class of 1942, and was employed at Neenah. The groom attended Menasha High School and served 22 months in the armed forces.
The out of town guests were Joe Hartung and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lazotte and family of Neillsville, Mrs. Henry Klundt and son of Wis. Dells.
