Poziombka, Violet (Marriage - 9 November 1946)
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bender will make their home on a farm in the Town of York, following their marriage November 9. The bride is the former Violet Poziombka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Walker of Granton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Bender of Granton.
The wedding took place at York Center Methodist Church at 3 p.m. The single ring ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Lee Homes, the pastor. The two were attended by Janet and Philip Poziombka, son and daughter of the bride. Janet sang, "O Perfect Love," accompanied by Mrs. Milford Rowe, who also played the wedding march.
Mr. and Mrs. Bender took a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.
Guests from away were Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Vandeberg of Menomonie, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johanknecht of Waupaca, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johanknecht and Judith and Ronnie, of Waupaca. Mrs. Vandeberg is sister of the bride and the other two women from Waupaca are sisters of the groom.
