Buss, Frank (4 Apr. 1875 - 11 Jan. 1956)
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home at Owen for Frank Buss, pioneer farmer of the town of Green Grove, who died last week Wednesday at the age of 80 years at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kopp, in the town of Hoard, Clark county. Burial was made in the Riverside cemetery at Owen.
Mr. Buss lived in the town of Green Grove until he retired 10 years ago. Since then he made his home with his children. He was born in Germany on April 4, 1875, and was married in 1911 to Ina Pethers who died two years ago.
Surviving are two sons and four daughters - Oscar of Owen, Harry of Manitowoc, Mrs. Kopp, Mrs. Paul (Elsie) Leinenkugel and Mrs. Esther Siebolt of Sheboygan and Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Reddig of Spencer. Also one brother, Emil Buss of the town of Hoard and 24 grand children. Two sons preceded him in death.
