Sturner, Clara (24 Nov. 1890 - 13 Apr. 1956)

Mrs. Oscar W. Sturner died unexpectedly Friday morning at 5:50 A.M. at the age of 65 years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. Harvey Schall officiating. Pall bearers were Angus Lamont, Sr., Malcolm Lamont, Henry Aderhold, Ernest Miller, Fred Zassenhaus, Sr., and J. F. Cross.

The former Clara Hilgers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hilgers, was born in Kaukauna November 24, 1890. She came to Colby with her parents as a child and resided here since. She married Mr. Sturner, who survives, in Colby, Wisconsin on October 18, 1910.

Mrs. Sturner was well known for her kindly and friendly disposition so friendship’s circle to her was a large one. Her friends, too, will miss her.
