Gergen, Arleen (Marriage - 30 March 1946)
Mr. and Mrs. Tunis Baker, newlyweds are making their home temporarily in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Later they will go to Gary, Ind., where the groom will operate a business. The bride is the former Arleen Gergen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernie Gergen of Neillsville. The groom’s hometown is Hurley, Va.
The couple was married on March 30, at the Summerfield Methodist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Rev. Stonsell officiated.
The bride wore a blue suit with a corsage and headdress of roses, sweet peas and forget-me-nots.
Following the ceremony they went to the Schroeder Hotel, where their pictures were taken. Later a supper was served at the bride’s apartment.
Mrs. Baker is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1943 and has since been employed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
