Doege, Charlotte (Marriage - 4 May 1946)
Thorp - Miss Charlotte Doege daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Doege of the Town of Reseburg and Max Siek of Taylor County, were married at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Reseburg Saturday, May 4, the Rev. W. Schedler officiating.
The bride chose as her wedding gown a white satin bodice with a net overskirt with a train and a fingertip veil and tiara. Her jewelry was a string of pearls and earrings, a gift of the groom. She carried pink and white carnations.
The matron of honor was a sister of the groom, Mrs. Rose Malinoski. Rose Bradle, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Wilma Bradle, friend of the bride was bridesmaid.
The groom was attended by the bride’s brother, Herman Doege.
A wedding dinner was served at 6 p.m. to the wedding party and close relatives. One of the honored guests at the wedding was the 89-year-old great-grandmother of the bride, Mrs. Russell.
