Holt, Emma (Marriage - 23 May 1946)
The wedding of Emma Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Holt, Greenwood, and Frank J. Wilson, Jr., Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson, Sr., Milwaukee, was solemnized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood May 23. The Rev. Fr. Novak officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white ninon gown and carried a bouquet of white carnations. The couple’s attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wieting, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for about 40 guests. The house was decorated with blue and white streamers and a white wedding bell. A three-tiered cake formed the table centerpiece.
Before her marriage the bride was employed at the Dairy Belt Cheese and Butter Company at Spencer. The groom has employment with the Kleckner Elevator, Neillsville.
Guests from away were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Blankenship of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
