Dittman, John Frank (5 November 1869 - 31 December 1947)

Funeral services for John Frank Dittman, 78, Neillsville, were held Sunday afternoon, January 4, (1948) at the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. N. J. Dechant, pastor of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiated. Burial took place in the Town of Knapp, Bunde Settlement at Millston, Wis. Mr. Dittman died on December 31, (1947) at the Clark County Hospital at Owen. He has made his home for several years at the Elmer Filitz farm in the Town of Levis. He had been in poor health about three years.

John Dittman was the son of John and Fredericka Taves Dittman and was born November 5, 1869, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had resided in Clark County 45 years. Several years were spent in Jefferson County. For a number of years he owned and operated a farm north of Neillsville and has worked as a carpenter. He was never married.

Surviving are a brother, Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Delia Kenyon of Neillsville. Two brothers, Frank and Ed are deceased, also a sister, Minnie.
