Zerbel, Doris (Marriage - 7 January 1948)
Miss Doris Zerbel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zerbel of Humbird, and John K. Kleckner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kleckner of Neillsville, were married January 7, (1948) at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. N. J. Dechant performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of members of the immediate families.
Attendants were Miss Lorraine Zerbel, sister of the bride, as maid-of-honor, and DeWayne Schweinler of Neillsville as best man.
The bride wore a grey gabardine suit with black accessories. Her maid-of-honor wore a suit of brown gabardine.
Supper was served to close relatives at the Keller Supper Club.
The bride is employed in the office of the clerk of court. The groom is a veteran of World War II and at present is employed at the Kleckner Elevator. Following a trip to southern Wisconsin, the couple will reside in the Sheddeu house at the corner of South Clay and Fourth Streets.
