CLASS IS GRADUATED AT ST. JOHN'S SCHOOL
Sparta Pastor Delivers Commencement Address
Neillsville--A class of 18 students was graduated from St. John's Lutheran school Wednesday evening, graduation exercises being held at the school. Rev. William A. Baumann, pastor of the church, presented the diplomas.
The Rev. A. Berg, Sparta, delivered the commencement address, with Frederick Kluhsman giving the valedictory address and Marion Lewerens the salutatory address. The class motto, "Thy Way, Not Mine, O Lord," was sung by the graduates while several other vocal numbers were rendered by the school chorus.
Following are the names of the graduates who completed their eighth grade work Wednesday: Arnold Mueller, Fritz Zank, Arnold Carl, Frederick Kluhsman, Carl Thoma, Edgar Tews, Louis Zschernitz, Florence Roehl, Adeline Knoop, Virginia Roehrborn, Marion Dux, Marion Lewerenz, Alice Goldamer, Louisa Blum, Margaret Tramm and Lois Hanchman.
Eric Sievert is principal of the school and Miss Adelia Schumacher teacher of the lower grades. A total of 82 students have been enrolled at the school this past school year.
