Schraufnagel, Frank (20 February 1881 - 9 February 1948)

Funeral services for Frank Schraufnagel, 67, will be held Friday morning, February 13 (1948), from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, Wis. Burial will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. He was found dead Monday afternoon near his car on a town road near Abbotsford, Wis. Death was due to a heart attack.

Mr. Schraufnagel was born February 20, 1881, in the Town of Hull, Marathon County, and lived on a farm in that community his entire life. He was married May 28 (or 29), 1919, to Lena Schilling, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are six children: Emil of Nason; Alphonse and Cletus of the Town of Hull; Miss Martha of Chicago; Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Treankler of Abbotsford; and Arthur of Neillsville. Eleven grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters also survive.
