BioM: Dygart, Miss (Marriage - Aug. 1897)
Married Since August
There was a great surprise at Spencer last week when it was found out that Allie Follett, the 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Follett, had been married since last August to the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. Leon Dygart. Not even the parents suspicioned the relationship between the children and when the mother of the young benedict learned of her son's wayward course, she refused to be comforted. They have both been attending school at Spencer this winter. The clergyman, justice or whoever it was that joined them in marriage, should have his office taken from him and then pounded with a stuffed club.
