Way, Seward (20 APR 1862 - 22 SEP 1947)
Burial services for Seward Way, 85, a former resident of this community (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), were held Thursday at the Neillsville Cemetery. The Rev. Floyd A. Fahlgren, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church, officiated. Mr. Way died Sept. 22, 1947 at Luther Hospital, Watertown, S.D., where he had been a patient about two weeks.
Seward Way, son of Samuel and Angeline Way, was born April 20, 1862, at Neillsville, and lived here until 1916, when he sold his farm and went west. The former Way home here is the farm just north of Neillsville, now the home of Mr. and Mrs. George May.
He was married at Neillsville to Amelia Raether, who died a number of years ago. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert S. Carlisle of Lake Benton, Minn. The sister, a brother-in-law and two nieces accompanied the body to Neillsville. They returned Thursday afternoon to Minneapolis
