Oleson, William G. (22 AUG 1869 - 23 SEP 1947)

William G. Oleson, 78, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sept. 23, 1947, at his home. He had been in failing health the past two years. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Loyal, and burial was made in the Spencer Cemetery.

Mr. Oleson was born Aug. 22, 1869, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Most of his early life was spent in Michigan. From 1900 to 1906 he lived in Loyal and after several years spent in the west, he returned in 1940 to Wisconsin.

On Aug. 13, , 1898, he was married to Mary Meacham at Colby, Wis. He is survived by his wife and a sister, Mrs. Flora Cartwright of Detroit, Mich.
