White, Elaine R. (4 OCT 1947)

The marriage of Miss Elaine R. White, daughter of James H. White, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Robert R. Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bauer, also of Greenwood, , took place in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal Oct. 4, 1947. The Rev. Aloys Zinthefer read the service.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth White of Marshfield, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, was best man and matron of honor. Other attendants were the groom’s sister, Miss Doris Bauer, and Vincent Braun of Greenwood.

The bride wore an entrained gown of white satin and a fingertip veil. Her flowers were an arm corsage of red roses. Dinner and supper were served to 75 guests at the home of the groom’s parents. A wedding dance was given at the Silver Dome.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Loyal High School. They will reside at Greenwood.
