Anna Marie Stratton
GREENWOOD -- Anna Marie Stratton, 88, died Sunday, July 20, 2008.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.
She was born June 13, 1920, in Porter Township, Indiana, to Philenus and Anna Marie (Vitoux) Westbay. She married Richard K. Stratton on June 10, 1942, in Crown Point, Ind. She worked as a nurse's aide until Richard's death in 1962, when she moved to Greenwood near her parents' farm. She worked at the Neillsville Memorial Home and the Clark County Division of Aging and then with her son at the Color Gallery in Marshfield.
She is survived by her children, Mavis R. Stratton Gee, Middletown, Conn., Phillip and Deborah Stratton, Amarillo, Texas, Richard and Deborah Stratton, Maryville, Tenn., Thomas and Paula Stratton, Janesville, and Daniel and Belinda Stratton, Owen; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Irene Carlberg and Nancy Syth.
