COLBY -- Laura A. Kumbier, 94, of Colby, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Colonial Center in Colby, Wis.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Neumann officiating. Burial will be in Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to time of service Friday at the church in Colby, Wis. Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Laura was born Jan. 14, 1914, to Carl and Amanda (Wiedenhoeft) Feind, the fifth of nine children. She was a lifelong resident of Colby and a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church. Laura was united in marriage to Norman Marsh in 1945 and to Arthur Kumbier in 1964.

Laura is survived by her sisters, Irene and Alida Feind of Milwaukee; stepson, Howard (Yvonne) Kumbier and family, David, Nancy and Penny; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Norman Marsh and Arthur Kumbier; sisters, Elsie Schulz, Adeline and Verna Feind; and brothers, Julius, Ernest and Arthur Feind.
