Frick, Mary Catherine (28 Sept. 1962 - 22 July 2008)

Mary Frick

GRANTON -- Mary Frick, 45, of Granton, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at her home in the town of Lynn. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 27, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

A full obituary will follow in Saturday's paper.

The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting Mary's family with arrangements.

Mary C. Frick

GRANTON -- Mary Frick, 45, of Granton, answered the call of God our Almighty Father, as he summoned his angel home to his waiting arms Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Our angel on Earth has gone to watch over us from above as she now sits in the warmth and peace inside the gates of heaven.

Mary Catherine Frick was born Sept. 28, 1962, the daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Golisch) Frick in Oconomowoc. She graduated from Granton High School in 1981 and went on to work for several different businesses in the area as a carpenter. Mary was united in marriage to Steve Breadlau and they moved to Florida where they lived for 10 years. They later divorced. Mary loved woodworking and the outdoors. She had spent the past nine years employed by WestWood Kitchens of Neillsville building cabinets. Mary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Granton.

She is survived by her mother, Catherine Sternitzky of Granton; five brothers and sisters, John (Gina) Frick of Austin, Texas, Tom Frick of Birchwood, Dan (Teresa) Frick of Wisconsin Rapids, Grace (Jeff) Ignatowski of Pittsville and Laura (Mike) Goergen of Pittsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Jason and Jacob Frick, Jeremy Frick, Shane Frick, Misty Frick, Lindsey Strey, Jake Ignatowski, Maria Behselich and Andy and Elizabeth Goergen; seven great-nieces and nephews; and her favorite buddy, her dog, Brutus. Mary loved life and spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jacob Frick; her step-father, Warren Sternitzky; and a brother, Andy Sternitzky.

Funeral Services for Mary will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor John Trewyn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Granton.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and again from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at Zion Lutheran Church.

Serving as casket bearers will be Bryan Rasmussen, Sonny Pruett, Shane Frick, Jake Ignatowski, Terry Butts and Dan Porter.

The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting Mary's family with arrangements.
