Neillsville

Injured in Auto Wreck, Harry Donahue and Arthur Gall, Neillsville youths were seriously hurt early Sunday morning when their car was struck by a truck travelling without lights and owned and driven by Fred Noll of the town of Grant, Clark county. Gall was more seriously hurt than his companions. Both cars are a total wreck.

Celebrate Golden Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Campbell, residents of Clark county for many years celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Saturday. prior to retiring to city life here they owned and operated a farm in the town of Weston.

Sentence Robber

W. C. Hart, 32, a morphine addict, was sentenced to one year in Waupun by Judge Crosby, in circuit court in Neillsville, Tuesday. Hart pled guilty to breaking into Dr. Johnston's office in Abbotsford several weeks ago. After sentencing Hart, the judge paroled him to the state board of health for a year with hopes that the victim can be cured. He is married and has two children.

Health Center Oct. 5

The Clark county health center will be held in Neillsville, Friday, Oct. 5th. Dr. Eleanor Hutchison will be in charge.

August O. Andorff, of Butler township, and Miss Rosie Studnichka, of Butler township.

Baseball

Clark county baseball fans will be interested to know that the strong Neillsville city team, which la the champion baseball team of the county, will play the Marshfield city team at Marshfield next Sunday afternoon. This will undoubtedly be the last game of the season as the Neillsville manager has had considerably difficulty in arranging games this late in the season.

Buy Goats

Since the Clark county fair, which was held during the last week in August, several Neillsville men have purchased milk goats and are keeping them for family use.

Henry Huebscher, of Neillsville, has been the owner of four milk goats for some time and he entered them at the county fair. After seeing them exhibited and hearing of some of the good traits, several. Neillsville men became interested; and as a result have purchased milk goats for their family use.

M. H. Zilisch, Neillsville agent for the American Express company, has two, L. S. Marden has one, Fred W. L. Schmidt has two, Alfred Klopf has one, and Earl Campbell has one. The goats were purchased near, Willard from a farmer that had over thirty milk goats on his farm. The goats are of an excellent milk strain and doubtless several other families in Neillsville Will soon have one. rich milk for family use, a goat of this kind Besides furnishing rich milk for family use, a goat of this kind makes a splendid pet for children.
